A long stay visa is mandatory for all non-European Union students planning to participate in the Georgia Tech Lorraine Fall and/or Spring Programs in France.

1.  Complete the mandatory online registration with the French Embassy, the Campus France Registration

A step-by-step set of guidelines is available online to help students complete the registration: to access the guidelines, click here (Note: students should only complete Step 1 and 2 of these guidelines, Step 3 is completed by GT-L on your behalf)

2:  Online Payment of the $180 Campus France registration fee and submission of the payment receipt via the GT-L Tsquare site

To complete the Campus France registration, a payment must be made online (to pay, click here) and a copy of the receipt must be uploaded on the T-Square site for the specific GT-L program (Fall/Spring)

3.  Wait for 2 weeks and check your Campus France account (message box) to retrieve the Campus France confirmation message to proceed with the visa application

Once the registration has been reviewed and confirmed by the Embassy, a confirmation message will appear in the students'  Campus France "message box". This message will need to be printed and included in the Visa Application Packet. Without this document, students cannot proceed with their visa application

International Students Only: Schedule an Appointment online with the French Consulate for a date 90 to 60 days prior to your planned departure (Click here to make an Appointment).  Print the confirmation of your appointment day/time. Rescheduling an appointment is possible only if the original appointment is first cancelled online

4:  Prepare and submit your Visa Application Packet to Maleia Lewis

US students:  Maleia Lewis will review the packet, collect the visa fee and submit them  to the Consulate on your behalf

International students: Maleia Lewis will review the packet and return it to the students who will need to go to the Consulate in person to drop off their files and be finger-printed
